Targeted mobile campaigns for advertisers

InMobi has unveiled its service designed to allow mobile advertisers to target locally by city.

The mobile ad network’s service is available immediately in the UK, France, Indonesia, South Africa, US and India taking in 15,000 cities and regions. Advertisers will be able to target users via different handset models, operators by country and an improved version of the company’s ad serving engine. Meanwhile, the iPhone offering allows video, search and local formats in the iPhone’s 230x48 banner format. 

 

 

Blackberry Curve, Nokia 6700 and iPhone 3GS are among the models supported by the service. InMobi hopes the service will improve ROI via extended targeting options and technology tailored to the consumer’s phone environments.
