What’s the track record? 

We’ve been building the product for the past year and are now live with our MVP.

What’s the elevator pitch?

“Have you ever purchased something online and then seen ads for the same item afterwards? We’re fixing that.”

What does this mean? 

It means users will no longer see redundant ads for products and services they’ve already bought.

What makes your company different from its competitors? 

Adavow uses product category information from online (and offline where available) purchases to eliminate wasted ads. We are the only company that we know of using category information in this way.

Who are your clients?

Adavow is a B2B platform whose clients are medium to large advertisers who sell products online and the ad networks they use to serve digital ads.

How will your company change the world?

Our technology will fundamentally change the way advertisers and ad networks target online ads, which will make browsing the web less annoying for all users.

Who do you compete with?

We have no direct competitors as such. This is because to do what we’re doing requires complete market neutrality between advertisers, agencies, ad networks and publishers. Any solution that could potentially do we’re doing is owned by a company whose core business is in one of those channels – meaning they cannot be neutral by default.

Who should be worried?

No one should be worried since we aim to provide equal access and information to anyone who can benefit from our information.

If you could choose any investor globally who would it be? 

Either SV Angel/Ron Conway or Accel would be great for us to have involved in the project.

If you could poach any member of staff from any company in the world who would it be?

Michael Friedrich, Regional Vice President at ScribbleLive. Michael is one of the best salespeople I’ve ever worked with as well as being a super-nice guy.
