More than 4.6 million mothers in the UK spend almost 27 hours online each month, according to the latest figures by comScore.
The growth of this demographic online has been demonstrated in the recent surge of parenting sites to join the Glam Media online ad network in the UK. Sites dedicated to, motherhood, time management and other female specific topics are becoming more prominent and garnering attention from readers and advertisers alike, according to the online network.
“This segment of the market is becoming increasingly attractive to online advertisers so it is vital they look at ways to engage more effectively with this demographic and target them with the right content,” said Shakeel Mughal, commercial director, Glam Media UK.
