The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) is to sponsor CNN International's new monthly half-hour feature programme 'Icon'.
The launch of ‘Icon’ is part of CNN’s expansion of its arts and culture coverage. It explores how classic cultural figures have influenced new trends and uncovers new icons as they emerge. The move fits in with Abu Dhabi’s ambition to become the cultural hub of the Middle East.
ADTA’s sponsorship includes branding around the show and vignettes for the show, as well as online banners. A new ‘ad feature page’ sees a dedicated sponsor page on CNN.com, with content and branding driven by ADTA, while ads will also run in CNN Traveller Magazine.
