Eurosport launches London 2012 ad offering

Eurosport has launched its international advertising offering for the 2012 Olympic Games.

As official Olympic broadcast partner, Eurosport has created a multi-platform sales offer for international brands and advertisers. The platform called ‘Road to London 2012’ enables brands to join a two year countdown to the London Games, with an ability to advertise and broadcast on the channel.

 

 

The ‘Road to London 2012’ platform focuses on the major European and World Championship events by revealing which athletes will qualify to compete at London 2012.

The platform also enables brands to book advertising space during the two weeks of the live sport. Also available to advertisers is a series of Olympic magazine programmes that focus on the sports and athletes completing at the London Olympics.

Online, Eurosport has created a London 2012 section featuring all sporting news and results from the Olympic sports. The site hosts a countdown section until the opening ceremony on 27 July 2012 and a ‘Road to London 2012’ Twitter feed will be available.

The first event to carry the ‘Road to London 2012’ branding started today with the European Athletics Championships from Barcelona.
Eurosport is an official IOC Broadcast Partner and has been an Olympic broadcaster since 1992.
