Diapason signs multi- year CNBC deal

09 March 2010

Diapason Commodities Management, the independent commodity asset management firm, has signed a multi-year deal with CNBC that will see it sponsor the news network’s commodities segment.

The new deal will run across the EMEA and Asia regions and includes both a spot campaign and sponsorship. CNBC will create a bespoke Diapason Global Commodities Update that will feature Diapason branded opening and closing billboards as well as Diapason data.

In addition, the management firm will be the exclusive sponsor of CNBC’s The Commodities Update, which airs daily.

Stephan Wrobel, chief executive at Diapason Commodities Management, said: “Investors increasing awareness of commodities as an investment asset class opportunity means that reliable commodity data is more important than ever, and we are delighted to both sponsor programming and share our commodity indices with CNBC’s C-suite business audience.”
