Clear Channel Outdoor Europe president Matthew Dearden has been appointed FEPE International president, outlining a new vision centered around ‘inspiration’.
Dearden, who has acted as vice president since 2014, will be responsible for chairing the FEPE Board to lead the new vision and support the organisation’s worldwide lobbying for outdoor advertising.
“I am both honoured and thrilled to accept the role of president of FEPE: honoured to be leading the global association for outdoor advertising during the medium’s biggest transformation and thrilled at the unique potential this organisation has to nurture our international community to champion out-of-home and drive its continued growth,” said Dearden.
“I look forward to working with the Board and FEPE’s team and members in bringing this vision to life.”
The announcement was made at the 57th FEPE Congress in Barcelona by Antonio Vincenti, the current president of the worldwide association of outdoor advertising companies.
“I would like to warmly congratulate Matthew on this new role,” commented Vincenti. “Under his guidance, and in view of the very inspiring programme he’s shared with us, I’m sure that FEPE International will extend its influence as a driving growth force for the global OOH industry.”
