Tom Denford is Founding Partner of IDCOMMS, a modern communications company, based in London.
Tom has a broad range of experience in the communications business having worked for a few of the large global media and creative agency networks. He left corporate agency life in March '09 to set up ID COMMS with David Indo with a vision to create a new type of communications consultancy, working with brands, agencies, investors and SME's to solve modern marketing problems.
Most recently Tom was Global Head of Communications Planning at Carat and before that worked as Director of Communications Planning at JWT in New York. He has built a reputation on offering clients straight talking, actionable planning, things that make a tangible difference to business growth.
Tom is very driven by the desire to improve the agency model most notably how they get fairly and transparently paid and how clients can better see the value they offer. As a writer, Tom separates the myths from the facts relating to agency-land, shares interesting findings relating to communications businesses and gives his thoughts on what will shape the agencies of the future.
