Beiersdorf hires former RB marketer
03 July 2012
Beiersdorf, owner of the Nivea and LaPrairie brands, has appointed former Reckitt Benckiser marketer Neil George in the newly-created role of marketing director for Northern Europe.
The appointment comes amid an overhaul of its regional structure across Europe, which will see the cosmetics company develop centralised and consistent marketing messages across the region.
George’s remit will cover all Beiersdorf brands, from Nivea to Eucerin and La Prairie. He will report to Beiersdorf Northern Europe general manager Iain Holding.
Prior to this role, George spent a decade with FMCG giant Reckitt Benckiser, most recently as marketing director for Reckitt Benckiser Netherlands.
