PROFILE
The Economist is a global weekly for ‘current and aspiring leaders and influencers.’ The title continues to grow: the latest ABCs (Jan-June 08) show global year-on-year growth of 6.1% and a total worldwide circulation of 1,337,184 as it capitalises on the new knowledge economy. Lifestyle magazine Intelligent Life was launched as a quarterly magazine in September 2007 and brings a unique perspective to an eclectic range of topics, from travel to the arts, from style to cultural icons. New chief executive Andrew Rashbass is restructuring the business to reflect a more regional focus.
