Summary: In 2008, MPG opened new offices in Finland and Venezuela, and increased its strength in Malaysia by merging with the leading local agency to create Trapper/MPG. MPG USA launched a new business unit called Chrysalis concentrating on the place-based out-of-home segment. The company’s main media interactive network, Media Contacts, opened offices in the Baltics, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines. Mobext, its mobile marketing agency opened operations in US, UK, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Portugal. Yahoo! and Havas Digital entered into a multiyear, global advertising partnership. Also in the past 12 months, Havas Sports, Havas Entertainment and B6 merged to form Havas Sports & Entertainment.
