PROFILE
Joy is an international trend magazine for women. It has been the best selling women’s magazine in its home market of Germany since 2003 and boasts significant circulation figures in 20 other European countries. The editorial mix consists of fashion, beauty, celebrities, real-life stories and service. The pocket-sized women’s magazine targets 20- to 35-year-olds, who closely follow all the trends in fashion and beauty. Advertisers are given the opportunity to reach a group with high disposable income.
Joy Slovenia, launched in December 2008, was the last addition to the publication’s range. In 2010 Joy has plan to launch new editions in major markets.
BRAND EXTENSIONS
Joy Celebrity is a bi-annual special edition in Hungary and also appears annually in Romania. JOY Beauty appears annually as a stand-alone brand extension in the Czech Republic.
The Joy Trend Awards honour achievements in fashion, beauty and lifestyle in Germany, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. The Hungarian edition awards beauty products on an annual basis with the Prix de Beauté.
NON LINEAR OPPORTUNITIES
Joy regularly contains client-sponsored supplements, such as beauty and hair booklets. International editions also offer collaborations on a variety of shopping events.
