L’Oreal media director Stephanie Bell is to join Diageo as its head of global demand procurement.
Bell, who has been based in Bangkok as L’Oreal’s regional digital and media director for APAC, will relocate to London to join the drinks maker.
She replaces Kester Fielding, who left in August this year to become head of commercial procurement at Bacardi.
Bell joined L’Oreal in August 2010, having resigned from her position as CEO of GroupM Thailand. She had been with Mindshare since 2002, initially as managing director of the agency’s Philippines office, before moving to Thailand in 2004.
She began her career in the UK as a media planner at Lowe Howard Spink, moving on to join Carat, Zenith Media, Saatchi & Saatchi, Starcom Hungary and RTL Television.
Separately, Last month, Diageo launched a campaign fronted by former England football star David Beckham to promote its new global whisky brand Haig Club.
