Publicis-owned agency DigitasLBi has appointed Emmanuel Baruch as general manager of its Hong Kong office.
Baruch will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and growth, reporting into Roy Capon, chief executive of DigitasLBi, Asia Pacific.
Baruch recently moved from DigitasLBi in Paris where he led a large part of the global digital transformation programme for the Renault-Nissan alliance.
Baruch said: “Asia is without a doubt the most exciting place in the world at the moment for marketing and technology. The strength of the blended service offering provided by DigitasLBi in Hong Kong, along with the fact that it’s the fastest growing agency in the region, was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse.”
Capon said: “I’m delighted that Emmanuel has decided to join us from our Paris office. His appointment supports our ongoing strategy to create an open talent mobility programme. Emmanuel has the right skill set, understands our culture well and brings a mature knowledge of marketing and technology to the region.”
The appointment follows a large expansion of DigitasLBi in Hong Kong through a number of new business wins including AIA, Cathay Pacific and Pernod Ricard.
