The Publicis Groupe-owned business has made Ezekiel managing director of its New York and Atlanta offices, with a remit to drive growth and development in those locations. He will report to both DigitasLBi global chief executive Luke Taylor and North America CEO Tony Weisman.

Ezekiel will also continue to oversee DigitasLBi’s relationships with clients including GSK, Unilever and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.

The former Grey Interactive, Saatchi & Saatchi, UBS and Time Out executive has previously opened DigitasLBi operations in the Middle East and Sydney, and played a significant role in the growth of the agency’s Hong King office.

It follows the decision to promote the agency’s previous New York and Atlanta president, Joanne Zaiac, to the newly-created post of chief operating officer for North America.

DigitasLBi global CEO Taylor said: “We are fortunate to have a cross-athlete like Laurent inside of our growing global network. He brings a collaborative and disciplined approach to multi-agency, connected client teams, work and business.”

Weisman added: “Laurent’s global purview and experience will help position our already strong New York office into a best-in-class idea springboard and global client anchor.”
