The Festival of Media Asia Pacific (FOMA) takes place in Singapore next week, and delegates and non-attendees will now be able to follow the event through our new mobile and tablet app.

The FOMA app, powered by Kinetic, is available on both iOS and Android devices. It is designed to enhance the Festival experience before, during and after the event, which takes place at the Capella Singapore on 22 to 24 March.

Features include the full agenda, with speaker rating functionality, and the ability to ask questions to speakers while they are on stage. The app will also include real-time event notifications, venue information and Twitter, Flickr & YouTube streams with the latest Festival news.

“Thanks to our new app, this year’s Festival of Media Asia Pacific is going to be our most interactive yet,” said C Squared content director Jeremy King.

“For the first time, delegates can ask the chair questions during the speaker sessions, as well as posting comments and engaging in real-time discussions with fellow delegates, creating a real sense of community.”
