Following the great success of the Festival of Media Asia Pacific mobile and tablet app, the new Festival of Media Global (FOMG) app is now available to download for free.
Festival of Media Global takes places from at the Waldorf Astoria Rome Cavalieri from 10 to 12 May, featuring speakers such as professional rock-climber Kevin Jorgeson, TF1 Publicité chief executive Laurent-Eric Le Lay and Blippar co-founder Ambarish Mitra.
The FOMG app, available on both iOS and Android devices, will allow both delegates and non-attendees to follow and interact with the event.
Features include the full agenda, with speaker rating functionality, and the ability to ask questions to speakers while they are on stage.
The app will also include real-time event notifications, venue information and Twitter, Flickr and YouTube streams with the latest Festival news.
In Singapore, nearly 300 attendees at the Festival of Media Asia Pacific registered the app, with around 35,000 actions performed, 140 social feed updates and 450 likes.
