1 – Inside Hearts & Science
Scott Hagedorn, chief executive of Omnicom Media Group’s hot new media network Hearts & Science, will sit down for the first time at a media industry conference to discuss the agency’s runaway success over the past 12 months, during which it picked up business from Procter & Gamble and AT&T. On Monday night (8 May), celebrate excellence in global media at the Festival of Media Global Awards 2017 in The Waldorf Astoria Rome Cavalieri, all the while enjoying a three-course sit down meal and entertainment from innovative rapper Ben Turner.
6 – Oscar-winning insights
Director Asif Kapadi will join Burberry senior vice president of creative media Greg Stogdon and Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Matt Charman to talk about their film, ‘The Tale of Thomas Burberry’, and explore what the convergence between the film industry, media and marketing means for the future of the industry.
7 – Surviving life as CMO, with Bacardi’s Mike Dolan
Bacardi’s chief executive officer Mike Dolan will sit down with 2 Degrees Venture’s Mitch Kanner to talk about how the life expectancy of a chief marketing officer has dropped to an all-time low of two years as businesses look more and more to short term marketing results.

10 – Find out the inside story of Moat’s acquisition by Oracle
Moat founder and chief executive officer Jonah Goodhart will discuss antiquated metrics used by the industry and how new methods are needed for measurement and transaction currency – as well as offering the inside track on Moat’s $850m acquisition by tech giant Oracle.
9 – Golden Cocktail Shaker competition
Fancy yourself as a mixologist? Blis’ popular cocktail competition returns to Festival of Media, with the winning cocktail served at Happy Hour drinks reception on Monday.
