Former Citigroup marketing and communications director Boff first joined GE in 2003, and has spent the past four years as the brand’s lead global digital marketer.

Reporting to Comstock, she will lead the company’s digital industrial marketing strategy, and is responsible for “intensifying commercial and customer impact” and “accelerating” GE’s brand.

Comstock said: “Her extensive background in integrated marketing, digital media, and brand, as well as her reputation for innovation, will help evolve our marketing organisation, build our iconic brand and advance GE’s digital and industrial strength.”

“[Boff] is one of the most innovative and forward-thinking marketers in the business,” said Comstock. “Her extensive background in integrated marketing, digital media, and brand, as well as her reputation for innovation will help evolve our marketing organisation, build our iconic brand and advance GE’s digital and industrial strength.”

GE last year spent around $235m on measured media in the US, according to Kantar Media data.
