G2 Joshua to handle Costa Coffee global marketing duties

Costa Coffee has appointed London-based communications agency G2 Joshua to handle its global integrated account, following a three-way pitch.

The agency will be responsible for the coffee franchise’s global marketing activity, with initial campaigns focused on India, the Middle East and mainland Europe.

G2 Joshua’s first work for the brand will be to launch a new product, in addition to supporting any ongoing brand activity.

“I’m certain this partnership will signal the start of an exciting new direction for the brand,” says Costa Coffee EMEI international marketing director Mita Padhi. “We are highly confident they will deliver creative solutions to our unique global marketing requirements.”

Costa Coffee is the second largest coffee chain in the world, after Starbucks. The agency’s remit is to further cement its global reputation amongst consumers within the competitive coffee market.
