BBH scoops Huawei global ad account

Chinese telecoms company Huawei has awarded its global advertising account to Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH).
BBH will work on Huawei’s devices unit and will manage the account from its London and Shanghai offices, with a particular focus on the UK, China, Japan, Europe and North America.
Huawei is hoping to establish itself in the international smartphone market and is readying a marketing push for its mobile and tablet devices in the UK.
BBH will be working on an integrated campaign to launch two new products in two key markets and develop a brand platform for Huawei.
“This is an important time for Huawei to build a strong global consumer brand. BBH is a well-respected advertising agency with extraordinary creativity,” says Huawei director of global brand management Amy Lou.
