Ugg to review European media biz

Australian shoe brand Ugg is holding a review of its media planning and buying account across the UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, worth an estimated $9.7m.

Ugg, which is owned by Decker, is understood to be looking for a media network to handle the business in its most active European markets, promoting its Ugg Collection and Ugg Classic ranges.

Incumbent Cream Media, which looks after other luxury brands Kurt Geiger and Karen Millen, is understood not to be re-pitching for the account. A number of agencies have been approached, but details were not disclosed.
