Havas Media’s Stuart Clark joins IPG Mediabrands for APAC leadership role

IPG Mediabrands has recruited Havas Media’s Stuart Clark to take over as client managing partner for the APAC region.

Clark – currently managing director for Havas Media International APAC – will be responsible for key relationships in the region with clients such as Hershey’s, Coca-Cola, ExxonMobil, Sony and Chrysler.

He will report to IPG Mediabrands World Markets Asia president Prashant Kumar.

It brings to an end 14 years of continuous service at MPG and then Havas Media for Clark, first in its London office and then in Singapore. He was appointed managing director at MPG Singapore in 2007, becoming head of Middle Office in 2011.

Kumar said: “Stuart combines deep and diverse media experience in Asia with a credible persona and easy youthful positivity. We are excited to have him bring a daring and dynamic stance to our clients.”

Clark added: “Mediabrands is a really dynamic company with great people and ambitious growth plans in the region. The media agency task has become so multi-faceted and complex and I believe Mediabrands agency of the future vision is the most compelling response to that challenge”.
