Carlson launches Radisson Blu across APAC

Carlson Hotels has launched its Radisson Blu brand across Asia-Pacific, as part of the brand’s global roll-out.

A $2m campaign will accompany the launch, targeting business travellers and a secondary audience of travellers from the meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) and leisure segments. Discover Blu ads will feature in business and trade media across APAC in print and online, as well as TV spots on CNN and BBC.

“In line with Carlson’s vision to grow the brand, the company has invested in Radisson Blu to take it to a new standard of contemporary accommodation and hospitality experience,” said Carlson Hotels APAC president Simon C. Barlow. “The brand’s first-class positioning is supported by innovations including a series of new service concepts that enhance the stay experience.”

There are 222 Radisson Blu hotels across the globe, with 104 more in the pipeline. In Asia-Pacific, 26 Radisson Blu hotels are in operations and 33 more planned.
