ESPN Star Sports expands mobile offering in Hong Kong

ESPN Star Sports (ESS) has partnered with telecoms service provider PCCW mobile for the launch of its 3G mobile service, Mobile ESPN, in Hong Kong.
Mobile ESPN offers sports fans access to live sports across ESS’ multiple platforms. In Hong Kong, content will be available exclusively to PCCW mobile customers.
Subscribers will have anytime access to a range of sports content including Formula One, SBK Superbikes, FA Cup, the AFC Champions League, Wimbledon, the Australian Open, US Open Championships and The Open Championship.
“The launch of Mobile ESPN marks another new milestone for ESPN Star Sports in Hong Kong’s digital space, as we now showcase live sports to our fans across all three media platforms – television, online and mobile,” says ESS managing director Manu Sawhney. “Launching live sports content and our compelling original programmes on the mobile platform is testament to our commitment to continue serving Hong Kong sports fans.”
