Johnson & Johnson’s Vineet Mehra to chair M&M Global Awards 2015

Vineet Mehra, president of global marketing services at Johnson & Johnson (J&J), will be chair of the jury for the 2015 M&M Global Awards.

Born in India and raised in Canada, Mehra is a true internationalist, having led teams across Asia, Europe and North and South America at some of the world’s most respected companies.

In his current role, Mehra is responsible for overseeing J&J’s $15bn+ consumer group of companies. He is responsible for understanding and anticipating the needs of consumers and professionals, and for strengthening the core marketing capabilities required to support the company’s global consumer strategy.

His impressive list of senior roles have included global vice president of Cosmetics/Colour at Avon, vice president of marketing for Europe at Novartis Consumer Healthcare, marketing manager- cereals and snacks for General Mills Canada and regional brand manager/South East Asia- Beauty Care at Procter & Gamble.

This year’s awards promise to be the biggest and best yet, with a host of new categories and a gala ceremony to take place at Grosvenor House on London’s Park Lane on Thursday 3 September.

New categories such as Best Use of Video, The Smart Use of Data and Best Use of Mobile reflect the changing role of technology in media.

Included on the judging panel will be Andrew Cocker, senior marketing director, Expedia EMEA; Caty Burgess, vice president of media strategies, The CW; Sarah Mansfield, VP global media, Europe and Americas, Unilever; Chris Stephenson, head of strategy, PHD APAC; Fabien Petit, global head of media and digital, L’Oreal and many more great names.
