E-commerce director Raj Jerath joins from Holland & Barrett and will be responsible for supporting international clients exploring new marketplaces.

UK e-commerce director Hannah Stote comes from Crabtree & Evelyn as an omni channel specialist with the aim of growing e-commerce practice in the UK.

Jerath and Stote will work in a team with insight manager Chris Howe, mobile and e-commerce manager EMEA Jessica Chapplow and MEC Global Solutions digital and data partner Mudit Jaju.

“Over the last year we have seen growing demand from clients for the delivery of e-commerce strategies that drive conversions across all touchpoints,” commented Jaju.

“By bringing Raj and Hannah on board, we will further cement MEC’s leading position in e-commerce and its data-driven approach to implementing strategies that fully align with customer needs and creates growth for the agency’s clients.”

MEC Commerce works across the European region and in addition to delivering projects in UK, Germany, France, Italy, Poland and Norway, the MEC Global Solutions in London acts as the hub for MEC Commerce and supports the network.

“MEC Commerce has been instrumental in helping us launch a leading e-commerce consulting practice in Norway,” said MEC Norway chief executive officer Martin Bentzen.

“This way, our clients not only benefit from best-in-class consultancy but we are also able to offer tailored strategies that deliver business growth locally.”
