The ‘fashion bible’ heads to the Ukraine
Condé Nast International is launching an edition of fashion magazine Vogue in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian edition of the magazine will be launched in partnership with Eastern European media company UMH Group. Vogue Ukraine’s launch is expected in the next 12 months and it will be the first magazine to launch in the market in both print and digital formats.

“A partnership with Condé Nast is a great honour and responsibility for UMH Group.  This will take the media business in Ukraine to a new level, while the launch of Vogue has great significance for the entire luxury market,” says UMH Group president Boris Lozhkin.

Vogue Ukraine will be the twentieth edition of the magazine worldwide. Editions are published in markets including the US, the UK, France, Italy, Russia, Japan , Mexico and Latin America, China and Taiwan.

“The Ukraine is ready for Vogue. Kiev is booming, and there is a strong market demand for luxury products and the experience Vogue can offer the reader,” says Condé Nast International chairman and chief executive Jonathan Newhouse.
