Etiquette to be aware of

Mexicans are very gracious. They hate to disagree and displease. They aim to always be helpful. And sometimes they do it to a fault. Beware of asking for directions for example. In the interest of being nice, Mexicans will rarely admit to not knowing. So you may be misled. At least you will get a warm smile along with bad directions :)

What touristy thing should you do if you have time

El Zócalo –it’s a beautiful plaza with vibrant history, truly grand.

Don’t:

Ever assume you can get anywhere in less than one hour. Give yourself three hours to get to the airport before a flight. Traffic in Mexico City is always a challenge.
