JWT’s Greg Georgiades joins LBi

Global marketing and technology agency LBi has appointed JWT’s regional business director for Middle East & Africa (MEA) on Nokia, Greg Georgiades, as its new client partner in the UK.
In his new role, Georgiades will head up client relationships on some of the agency’s flagship accounts which include Asda, RBS and E.ON.
His remit will be to take an active role in creating business value for new and existing clients through strategic, creative, media and technical expertise.
Georgiades moves to the role from ad agency JWT where he was regional business director for MEA on Nokia. Based in Johannesburg, he oversaw the management of two Nokia regional hub teams and 12 offices responsible for 21 markets across the region.
“Greg was the standout candidate for this role, with his mix of maturity, confidence, client skills and commerciality,” says LBi UK chief executive Anil Pillai. “He also has a real hunger for digital. Thanks again, Adland, for creating such great talent.”
The appointment reflects LBi’s ongoing strategy to seek out people with a diverse range of skills, including talent from above-the-line agencies, in order to respond to the complex nature of client briefs.
