Clinique launches AR campaign with Marie Claire
06 September 2010
Clinique will launch their latest beauty product with an augmented reality campaign in Marie Claire magazine and across the magazine’s website.
The campaign, created by IPC digital, the publisher of Marie Claire, will feature a 60 second video ‘Future of Beauty’ conveying the benefits of Cliniques new Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle & UV Damage Corrector and offers viewers the chance to receive a free sample.
Viewers can access the video only with a special symbol, published in the October issue and featured on the Marie Claire website, which will trigger the video when held in front of a webcam.
Traffic to the video will be driven by a 40 page advertorial Future Beauty supplement featuring in the October issue as part of its beauty special. The yearly supplement increases advertising pages in the October issue by 12%.
