Eurosport unveils new iPhone app

Eurosport has created a new mobile score centre, Livescore, for iPhone users that is available in nine different languages.
Football, rugby, tennis and other sports alerts will be provided via the app offering results, live scores, standings and fixtures on a customised desktop. Users can also follow specific teams or players over the entire season. The app is available in English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Swedish, Polish, Russian and Chinese.
“LIVESCORE gives a new dimension to our mobile offering as well as taking the Eurosport brand into new and exciting areas," says Eurosport chairman and chief executive, Laurent-Eric Le Lay. “Fans, journalists and sports fanatics across Europe will love the app which is fully customizable and will cater to their every need.”
Other sports apps are accessible on iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Android while the Eurosport Player app provides live streaming from Eurosport and Eurosport 2.
