Real-time ad network Jemm Group has selected ad technology platform AppNexus to exclusively power its online advertising business.

The partnership sees AppNexus provide Jemm with real-time bidding (RTB) capabilities for its display advertising inventory. The move is hoped to boost performance marketing and improve response rates for buyers.

AppNexus serves clients both buy and sell-side, including ad networks, publisher networks, demand-side platforms (DSPs), trading desks and other online advertising companies. It also works with Microsoft Ad Exchange, Harvest Digital and Infectious Media.

Since adopting the AppNexus platform, Jemm has seen click-through rates (CTRs) triple in the first month alone.

“By leveraging AppNexus’ technology platform, Jemm is able to deliver a strong proposition to buyers and sellers,” says Jemm global communications director Julia Smith. “We have moved away from a traditional ad network model and are now focused on working with other like-minded players in order to deliver a compelling offer for the publisher market.”
