Time’s Kim Kelleher joins Say Media as president
11 July 2012
Time magazine worldwide publisher Kimberly Kelleher has been named president of Say Media, effective September 1.
Kelleher replaces Troy Young, who will leave Say Media in July to pursue new career opportunities. Having been with Say Media for almost six years, he will continue to serve as a special advisor to Say Media chief executive Matt Sanchez.
Based in Say Media’s New York office, Kelleher will manage and execute the company’s overall business strategy and lead Say Media’s sales, marketing, media solutions and content operations teams.
She brings to the role more than two decades experience in growing revenues and brands. Prior to joining Time, she was vice-president and publisher of Sports Illustrated, as well as a range of roles at titles including Self Magazine, Elle and Elle Décor.
“Say is creating unique and memorable digital experiences for brands that reach today’s social consumer,” says Kelleher. “I’m fascinated by how quickly media consumption habits are changing and the innovation that’s happening at Say as a result. I am thrilled to join this incredible team to help create a ‘once-in-a-generation media company’ that will lead the industry for years to come.”
