Dubai International Film Festival taps MEC

The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) has appointed MEC to its media planning and buying account as it prepares for its eighth edition this December.
The business was won following a four-way pitch that included the incumbent OMD, Mediavest and MediaCarat.
“DIFF is an iconic event in the region and we are delighted at being chosen to handle its media business. Cinema is about creativity and passion, and we have demonstrated our strengths in these areas consistently over the years,” said MEC MENA chief executive, Mohan Nambiar.
Leo Burnett continues as the Festival’s marketing and advertising agency, executing all DIFF creative and digital. Principal sponsors include Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai Pearl and Emirates Airline.
