GroupM launches Xaxis Asia-Pacific
The audience buying division of GroupM, Xaxis, is launching its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.

The firm plans to roll out services across nine new markets in the next six months including India, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia. Existing Xaxis operations in Australia will also fall under the umbrella of the new office.

The headquarters will be led by the former managing director of digital ad company EyeWonder.

“As the largest audience-buying company in the world, Xaxis has an unmatched understanding of the global digital media-buying space along with local presence and expertise in each market it operates in,” says de Rijk. “This combination allows Xaxis to deliver proven audience solutions that are custom-fit for executing targeted campaigns market by market.”

Xaxis launched worldwide last June. The company provides audience buying solutions to more than 700 global advertisers and delivers more than 300 billion impressions annually.

“This commitment to expansion throughout the Asia-Pacific region follows a year of success and growth in North America, Europe and Australia,” says Xaxis chief executive Brian Lesser. “This launch displays the first step in our commitment to the region and will be followed with an aggressive expansion."
