Paperhat boosts social media capabilities

Print management and creative services company Paperhat is boosting its presence in the social media space through the acquisition of social media and marketing consultancy Consorcio Group.
The new business will be launched as Paperhat Consorcio, offering clients independent auditing and analysis for print, multi-media and social media marketing campaigns.
Paperhat Consorcio will be led by former Consorcio Group chief executive and founder Ian Sullivan, who has more than 20 years experience in cross-media marketing and print management.
Paperhat’s services have historically been geared towards creating cost-savings for clients through the de-coupling of physical print production from creative design processes. More recently, Paperhat has expanded its services to include cross-media marketing consultancy, ROMI auditing, through-the-line creative services and print-production spend management.
“The addition of a specialist social media and marketing consultancy is in line with our ambition to be at the forefront of industry innovation,” says Paperhat chief executive Tim Peppiatt. “Social media is a minefield for traditional businesses, even more so when trying to evaluate return on investment. This acquisition will help enhance our own market intelligence and to better service our current client base.”
