Reebok and Marvel team-up for superhero trainers
Reebok has partnered with Marvel to introduce a line of shoes based around some of the comic book publisher’s most iconic heroes and villains.

The trainer designs in the Reebok X Marvel range draw upon the colours and styles of 10 of Disney-owned Marvel’s characters, including pop-culture icons Spiderman and Captain America. Other shoes in the range have been inspired by characters including Wolverine from the X-Men, Venom from the Spiderman series and Captain America’s nemesis Red Skull.

Two of the designs, based on Reebok’s Freestyle trainers, are for women and feature Black Widow from The Avengers and X-Men character Emma Frost.

Each pair of shoes features an insole with a classic panel of the character that inspired the shoe. The trainers were designed by graphic artist Anthony Petrie and the first shoes will be released in July.

As well as the superhero range, Reebok is also re-releasing its Reebok Pump line of basketball shoes that were popular in the 1990s.
