Prisa appoints new GM

Spanish and Portuguese-language digital media company Prisa has appointed Felipe de Lucas as general manager, Prisa Brand Solutions.
Lucas has served as director of business development for Digital+ since 2010. Prior to this, he was manager of Prisa News’ newspaper El País. During his career at Prisa, he has held various positions at business and finance daily Cinco Días, GMI and other regional newspapers. Lucas will replace Bill Derrenger, who has headed the company since its creation.
Prisa Brand Solutions is a sales and marketing division of Prisa. It was created in 2010 after a merger of its two media sales companies; Box Advertising, which manages advertising in print and online; and GDM, responsible for ad space on TV and radio.
