Razorfish lands two Unilever accounts

FMCG giant Unilever has appointed Razorfish as the global digital agency of record for its Surf detergent and Dove haircare brands, following two separate pitches.

Publicis-owned Razorfish will be responsible for the brands’ global online presence and will support the launch of new products and markets.

“The [Razorfish] team created a thorough strategic approach for Surf presence in the digital space and combined this with very practical ideas for implementation in key markets across the globe,” said Sue Allchurch, vice-president, global brand development, Surf.

Razorfish already handles accounts for Unilever brands Axe, Lipton, Rexona and Signal.

Publicis acquired Razorfish from Microsoft in 2009 for $286.8m.
