CASBAA acquires new members
26 April 2010
The Cable & Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) has added four corporate members to its ranks.
Hong Kong-based Asia Media Solutions and APT Group have joined, as have Vietnamese content distributor Q.net and UK channel operator Travel Channel International. It marks the second time this year that the organisation has added four members.
Simon Twiston Davies, chief executive of CASBAA said: “The expanding reach of the Association demonstrates a reinvigorated environment for the Asia Pacific subscription-TV industry.”
“CASBAA is especially looking forward to working closely with its new members to promote business growth for the region,” said Davies.
The organisation has also confirmed its event schedule for the next quarter, which includes a pay-TV seminar in Vietnam (28 April) and a security forum in Singapore (14 June).
