Vodafone selects Velti for customer loyalty program

Vodafone UK has selected mobile marketing provider Velti to drive its next generation of loyalty programs in the UK.
‘Vodafone Freebee Rewardz’ offers its six million pay-as-you-go customers voucher codes to redeem prizes online every time they top up. Once online they can either ‘grab’ a prize or ‘grow’ points and can also share their gift with friends and family on Facebook.
Thorntons, Blockbuster and Fitness First have also teamed up to provide prizes as part of the campaign.
“Vodafone Freebee Rewardz is a unique scheme as we’re giving our customers something more than just discounts and customers can take part with whatever pay as you go phone they have,” said Vodafone UK consumer director Srini Gopalan.
