WPP unit takes majority stake in Predictys

WPP’s marketing solutions network KBM Group is expanding its digital capabilities with the acquisition of a majority stake in French digital data agency Predictys.
Founded in 2007, Predictys is a marketing company that specialises in digital data and campaign technology. Its database includes information from 140 million opted-in consumers from among more than 25 co-up partners.
The majority of its clients are affiliation networks which use Predictys as a third party provider to supply their own clients with direct marketing services. Its 2011 revenues were $4.22m.
The investment is in line with WPP’s strategy of investing in fast-growing markets and sectors and strengthening its capabilities in digital media and technology. France is WPP’s seventh largest market.
