Lavazza unveils Wimbledon campaign

Italian espresso brand Lavazza has launched an international cross media campaign specifically tailored to the Wimbledon tennis championship.
As a follow-up to the recent three-year partnership agreement between Lavazza and the Lawn Tennis Championships of Wimbledon, the Armando Testa Agency has created the campaign, which will run across TV, press, outdoor, as well as promo-cards and other below-the-line elements.
The commercial, under the tagline ‘Enjoy the real Italian Espresso Experience at Wimbledon’, will air on the internet and across international sports channels during the tennis tournament. The spot follows a tennis match between two Lavazza coffee cups playing in front of an audience of teaspoon spectators. The press and outdoor executions show a close-up image of a coffee bean transformed into a tennis ball.
