The countdown has begun to this year’s Festival of Media Global in Rome and several exciting new speakers have been announced, including Academy Award-winning producer Steve Golin.
Golin not only took home the Best Picture Oscar this year as producer of Spotlight, the tale of corruption within the Catholic Church, but he was also commended with the Best Film BAFTA for The Revenant.
In a session entitled ‘How do brands really tell a story in 2016’, the globally acclaimed producer will discuss all aspects of working with Hollywood for marketing campaigns, including creating long-term relationships, maintaining brand integrity and avoiding dilution.
Also set to speak at the Festival of Media Global are Bacardi’s global CEO Mike Dolan and Europe CMO Shane Hoyne, who will discuss how the brand resonates with consumers around the world and stays on the right side of the law, whilst working with younger generations and embracing creativity.
Elsewhere, Fiat chief marketing officer Olivier François is presenting a keynote speech and question and answer session on how fashion, music and entertainment all go hand in hand with storytelling for the automotive world.
And GroupM global president Dominic Proctor has also been added to the schedule, with a keynote presentation on what is next for agencies in 2016.
Festival of Media Global 2016 will take place on 18 to 20 May at Rome Cavalieri in Italy. To get a copy of the brochure and find out how to book, click here.
