PHD co-founder David Pattison is joining marketing technology company Rezonence as chairman.

In a statement, Rezonence – which claims to help maximise publisher revenues from digital inventory – said Pattison will play an important role in mentoring its management team.

Pattison, who set up PHD in 1990 with Nick Horswell and Jonathan Durden, is currently chairman of Newsworks, the marketing body for the UK’s national newspapers.

“When I’m asked to help companies I look for three things: a smart management team I want to spend time with, a product or products with a real difference and an opportunity for me to make a difference. Rezonence has all of these things and more,” said Pattison.

“I’m really looking forward to bringing my experience to the team and to help the business achieve all of the ambitions it has for itself.”
