SMG appoints Scott Curtis to lead European mobile strategy

Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) has promoted Scott Curtis to lead its mobile strategy across Europe, as it looks to position itself as a “centre of excellence” for mobile across the continent.

The Publicis agency has appointed Curtis as European mobile strategy and development director. He steps up from his previous position of UK mobile development director.

In the new role, Curtis will be responsible for identifying new mobile opportunities, building partnerships with technology and data vendors, as well as developing and training mobile teams across the SMG network.

Curtis first joined SMG in 2008 as a digital executive, and has previously held titles including global digital media manager and global associate director.
