SMG UK has signed a deal to make Flashtalking preferred mobile ad server partner, in an agreement which will see mobile ads localised across major European markets.

Flashtalking claims the formalised engagement will allow SMG better utilisation of HTML5 API, greater dynamic ad targeting options and the ability to handle large-scale campaigns across multiple markets.

SMG’s mobile director Scott Curtis said: “We are delighted to formalise the partnership with Flashtalking as our preferred mobile ad server.

“Having worked together with them for some time, we were impressed with Flashtalking’s mobile proposition and we are looking forward to working more closely together to deliver successful strategies for our clients as well as benefiting from influencing the future roadmap of mobile ad tech innovation.”

Flashtalking UK head of mobile Sofie Mobbs added: “We share SMG’s enthusiasm for our relationship. With a shared vision for product innovation and helping brands achieve global reach with their mobile ad marketing—there could not be a better fit.”

Last week, Flashtalking revealed the appointment of former [x+1] boss John Nardone as chief executive.
