Stranger takes Starcom EMEA leadership post

Starcom has promoted Jodie Stranger to the newly created role of Starcom UK group CEO and president of global network clients for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

She will also take up her position on the Starcom Worldwide Leadership team and report to the network’s global brand president Lisa Donohue.

The agency said Stranger would be responsible for building a connected international and domestic “Starcom powerhouse” in the UK, driving international clients based across the region and strengthening the reputation of the network.

She joined the company in 2013 and most recently held the role of president of global network clients EMEA for Publicis Media.

Donahue said: “An important region for growth, I’m confident Jodie’s strategic vision for successful client relationships will continue to build our businesses and brand presence across the region. If our greatest asset is our people, in Jodie we have a wonderful combination of expertise alongside a true passion for our Starcom brand and culture.”

Starcom UK CEO Pippa Glucklich, will continue to run the UK domestic business and will report to Stranger who will also work with senior management across the group and global client leads across EMEA to drive “brand cohesion and consistency”.
