Testing Artificial Intelligence with PHD’s Sentience game show

The afternoon of the second day of Festival of Media LatAm kicked off with the Sentience game show – designed to test a panel’s knowledge about artificial intelligence.


The game, hosted by PHD Worldwide regional managing director Alejandro Clabiorne, featured a panel of contestants made up of Quaxar chief executive officer Leonel Azuela, SAP digital marketing director Alex Jungermann, DDB Latina strategic planning and social media vice president Juan Isaza, and Teads senior vice president Eric Tourtel.

Questions ranged from the origins of AIan Turing’s enigma machine through to the personal assistant Cortana software of Windows 10. Although the tone was light hearted, with the host being awarded minus points when he asked a question slightly wrong, some serious issues about the future implications of AI were explored.

Jungermann was declared the winner, although his only prize was pride at his AI knowledge.
